I recently stayed at Mas de Peint for a relaxing retreat. The beautiful country estate, attentive staff, and charming owners made my stay unforgettable. The property is surrounded by Camargue horses and elegant black bulls, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. The staff arranged unique experiences like a horseback ride through the delta and a private bird watching tour with a local ornithologist. Complete relaxation and immersion in nature can be found here, along with a Michelin-worthy restaurant and locally sourced breakfast.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

A wonderful old farm in beautiful surroundings, 3-4 km from the next village. There is a nice pool (which we could not use against the blowing Mistral). The chef maintains a very good regional and traditional cuisine. A dream for meat and fish lovers. From the surrounding area, the "Cham Cham" is highly recommended both as a red wine and as a white wine. A visit to the winery is also worthwhile, in the fifth generation in family ownership. . The hotel restaurant is unfortunately closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays - the restaurant "La Chassagniette" (a Michelin star) is a very special experience on Thursday, a few kilometres on the road to Arles. Chef Armand Arnal grows almost all of his vegetables in his own garden and cooks with what is being harvested, imaginative but never artificial creations. An unbelievable experience - reservation for evening necessary. (Closed Wednesday) On Wednesdays you should go to Arles to eat (approx. 30 km). Fantastic breakfast, homemade jam, eggs from our own farm (the chickens roam freely). A guided tour of the farm is highly recommended, either by off-road vehicle or on horseback. At reception you can get good tips and directions. Be sure to use bug spray from mid-April (at the latest), this greatly increases the enjoyment of the wonderful nature. And be prepared for warm weather and freezing wind at the same time in spring. We had violent mistral for three out of 5 days, the last few days we could walk barefoot by the sea.
you have to be prepared for the fact that the hotel restaurant is closed on wednesdays and thursdays (see above). in the afternoon, there is no coffee service due to the few rooms. therefore, we rented the studio with a small kitchen - but to our surprise it did not contain a knife, fork, plate or even a teapot. But you can ask in the restaurant.

Mas de Peint is exceptional, a beautiful country estate with great cuisine and an attentive staff. The owners are present and charming. They raise Camargue horses, which graze peacefully near the pool, and the elegant black bulls that are featured in bull games every Sunday. The staff arranged for us a horseback ride through the delta and a private bird watching tour with a local ornithologist (we added 27 birds to our life list). If you desire complete relaxation and enjoy the beauty of nature, this is the place.
It is perfect.

The atmosphere at Le Mas De Peint was absolutely lovely. The rustic yet luxurious decor created a warm and inviting ambiance throughout the hotel. The public spaces, with their butterscotch, grey, and sea-green walls, were beautifully decorated with comfortable rustic furniture and interesting countryside paraphernalia. It was like stepping into a cozy rural retreat.
I would have appreciated a clearer communication from the staff regarding restaurant closure on certain nights. It would have been helpful if they had informed me in advance that the restaurant would be closed due to a holiday.

The rooms at Le Mas De Peint are incredibly cozy and charming, making it feel like a home away from home. As a light sleeper, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful it was, allowing me to get a restful night's sleep. The premium bedding provided in the rooms was absolutely heavenly. I sank into the mattress and felt completely relaxed, ensuring that I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. The air conditioning in the rooms was a blessing, especially during the hot summer nights. I could adjust the temperature to my liking, ensuring that I was always comfortable and able to sleep soundly.
Honestly, the only downside for me was that the TV in the room had limited channels. However, this is just my personal preference and I'm sure others would still find enjoyment in it.

The venue is stunning with its beautiful gardens, spacious sun terrace, and outdoor swimming pool equipped with sun loungers and beach umbrellas. the service is impeccable, with attentive staff fulfilling all luxurious needs. the restaurant offers delicious menus, including special diet menus, and the in-room breakfast is a great feature. the rooms are well-appointed with exclusive amenities and offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
There was a minor issue with mosquitoes, but the hotel did provide bug spray and other remedies to combat them. Nevertheless, this hotel is too good to be missed, and its location is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
